Mykonos has nothing to do with the other Greek islands, elected by the international jet set as the most glamorous island in the world, has seen prices rise enormously to become an exclusive and super popular destination.
The thing that leaves you more perplexed is how the friendliness typical of the other Greek islands does not even exist here, but only an obsessive search for tips even when you go to the petrol station. We are perplexed as to how the driver of the bus that takes us from the airport to the center takes a surcharge, as the gas station punctually pretends to take away fuel on the motor so as to request a tip for cleaning, as most restaurants offer fish frozen passed for fresh at crazy prices, as people are aggressive and do everything to remind you that you are a wallet to empty and not a person.
So do not pay attention that a drink costs no less than 16/20 euros anywhere, that a parking can even cost 20 euros, that a sun bed can exceed 100 euros, that if you do not have a table booked in many places you can not even enter, that for dinner does not spend less than 70/80 euros per person.
Without this premise let's go to see which are the best beaches and, for each one, the reference beach clubs with the weekly program of the best aperitifs that begin at 5 in the afternoon and end at 1 in the night.

Let's see in detail the most beautiful and trendiest beaches on the island.

Let's face it, the three most exclusive and expensive beaches are Nammos, Principote and Scorpios. So let's see the others first because Mykonos also offers beaches with more accessible prices as well as areas of free arena. Let's find out together which are the best.

Let's start with the busiest ones and then get to the quieter ones for those who want an aperitif in peace and enjoy moments of tranquility on paradisiacal beaches.

The most popular is undoubtedly Paranga beach with Sant'Anna and Kalua beach clubs, in the same area as the Scorpios. There is also a nice stretch of free beach between Sant'Anna and Scorpios itself. Here you will always find many people with a DJ set aperitif at the Kalua aside the pool starting from 5 in the afternoon.



Another very popular beach is Paradise with aperitif enlivened by the famous animator Sasà at Tropicana, a more youthful and simple place. Also here on the left side there is a nice free beach area.Close to this stretch of beach is the famous Cavo Paradiso disco which hosts an internationally renowned DJ every evening.

On the same side of the island and not far away is the Super Paradise with a fun aperitif. On the same beach on the right side the famous gay beach Jackie'O (40 euro bed in the front row, 30 others) with a fun aperitif with a drag queen show.

There is also a Jackie'O in the city center facing the sea, clearly the same local and well-known gay friendly hangout. The super paradise has no free beach.

Close to Super Paradise I recommend the beautiful Agrari beach with a large stretch of free beach, beautiful and very peaceful sea.

What I consider the most beautiful beach of Mikonos is Kalo Livadi with the two reference beach clubs Lohan and the elegant Soley

Hip Clubs

Chora, the center of Mykonos, is alive until twilight, where you will find people having dinner even at 5 in the morning, full of clubs and restaurants and people who run among the elegant white alleys between the old port and little Venice that almost looks like a maze and where even after a week you will not able to find home way naturally thanks to the drinks too.

The best clubs are Astra and Bomboniere, one in front of the other and where to enter you pay €20 drink included and where well-kept clothing is required. The problem is that in the center clubs are really small and always super full and where most part of the space is dedicated to the tables and is a continuous rush of staff with bottles, cakes decorated with steaming flares and hookahs so much so that, after you have been continually invited to move around, gaining the exit of the place will be the only real desire both yours and the club if you don't not have a table and you will immediately find a rose in your hand or a phosphorescent bracelet in your pocket but I do not want to reveal the reason, you will soon understand it yourself because you will be literally tormented and clearly this too has a price.



Same goes for the Caprice bar in little Venice overlooking the sea which at a certain time becomes too full as for the nearby tiny Toy Room where you will always see the rabbit man and Void club.

Hassle-free entry and popular drink at 10 euros mandatory at Scandinavian with two bars on the ground floor and disco bar on the first floor and where you will always find on the stairs waiting to enter lines of guys bounced from the other clubs.

To avoid instead in little Venice the restaurant linked to Caprice, the famous Sea Satin, suitable for tables of friends because after dinner you can dance on the tables, less instead for the rip-off because the food is at the limit of the edible and the prices are stratospheric (one slice of hard and frozen tuna 60 euros) and the final bill eating a little and badly reaches up to 150 euros at person like a 1 star Michelin restaurant. The extraordinary thing is that the restaurant is at the same always full and you need to book in advance.

Same goes for the Remezzo restaurant on the old port side which after dinner turns into a friends party with all the peolpe dancing on the tables.

We can say without any doubt that Scorpios is absolutely the best place in Mykonos both for its breathtaking natural location and for the wide spaces that allow everyone to have fun. Drinks cost 16 euros, the top evening on Sunday then Tuesday and Thursday, the hours from 5 in the afternoon to 1 at night, the extraordinary music with international DJ sets. The other evenings open but quiet.

Where do people go the other days? Curiosity is justified. On Monday at 180 Sunset, on Wednesday and Friday at Alemagou with the same times, nice beach club on the sea inside a natural bay with suggestive red lights on the rock (drink 20 euros) which unfortunately has reduced spaces compared to Scorpios and which therefore at a certain time no longer allows to move so much is the crowd.



To see at least once the super exclusive Nammos maybe just for a drink attended by the international jet set, super elegant and that in addition to having a moped parking (20 euros) for those who want it also has a helicopter parking. The prices of the sun beds from 90 to 150 depending on the line. The bay is wonderful, the sea Caribbean. Aperitif in the evening. Since we are in the mood to exaggerate because we are in Mikonos then it is also worth investing at least once a similar amount for a day at the Principote in the Panormos bay, another super exclusive and consequently super expensive beach club. Here too aperitif at evening but nothing to do with those of the weekly program. Needless to say, all evenings require non-beach clothing so always remember to take with you smart dress!
