Stockholm, Sveden capital, very cold in winter with its 14 islands and nearly 50 bridges, one of the few cities in the world where the entrance to major museums is free, amazing the medieval Old Town Gamla Stan with the Royal Palace, the many narrow streets



and its beautiful Stortorget known for coffee bars and Stureplan, the heart of nightlife.
It's a pity that the entrance to the best night clubs of the town on Friday and Saturday is for only Swedish unless you are accompanied by local people and this maybe shows the limits of a city that does everything to please the tourists and then close the doors to the most of the people with the famous phrase that strangers listen at the door of the East "you've been drinking a bit too much, tomorrow you can enter" even if you are abstemious, and with such temperature in winter is not so pleasant to stay out!I will try to guide you through the night starting from the Scandinavian dinner.

There are two locations absolutely not to be missed for an aperitif.

The first is the bar of Lydmar Hotel with a view of Gamla Stan and DJ sets from 6pm. Selection at the entrance and nice people, elegant meeting point of the after Stockholm office.

The second location is Strandvagen 1 at Strandvagen 1, the large boulevard overlooking the sea that embraces the most elegant and richest district of Stockholm, Osterlman.

Stockholm is expensive, let say it clearly, where a single room hotel in downtown costs around 150 euros, a dinner 100 and a beer 10. Restaurants opens very early and peak time around 6:30 pm. The most trendy, the most popular is the Grodan restaurant bar near Stureplan, the ideal place for a dinner and more.



Other cool restaurant where it is hard to find a seat so better to book, inside a pedestrian area of the Osterlman district, Nybrogatan 38, always well attended with very close tables with consequent easy socialization.

Changing area on Drottngataning that divide downtown (Norrmalm) on the highest part, in close proximity of Tegnerlunden hill, a few steps from central station where bus arrive every 10 minutes linking The city at the three airports, of which the main is Arlanda, 45 km far in just 40 minutes at the cost of 110 crowns corrisponding to 12 euro) the Grill Restaurant (Drottngataning, 89) elegant, refined, colonial, a must here in Stockholm for dinner or just for a drink in the bar area.

Particularly noteworthy for lunch with a delicious typical sweden menu at a fixed price of 12 euros, the relaxing and atmospheric Strandbryggan sea club from the breathtaking location especially at sunset and where is possible to enjoy a wonderful view over the whole old city.

After dinner eveything regarding nighlife and disco club is in Stureplan and adjacent streets except for the most famous club, Cafè Opera in Kungstradgarden, elegant, behind Opera House, divided into two rooms, the first zone with bar and tables for dinner, the second with a small dance floor. To enter (if you can get) as in most places of the city, you pay a ticket that does not include drink of about 100 crowns (10 €). After Dinner, take the Birger Jarlsgatan, on your right, until 2am Riche Club (Birger Jarlsgatan 4) is the must, trendy, always open except on Sundays, beautiful club, spacious, with two separate rooms, restaurant by day, trendy restaurant in the evening, well attended, very well crowded but definitely the top until the closing time.

Continuing along the same road you will reach Stureplan where the best night clubs are East, the Sturehorf (until 2am) and Spy Bar the best in town, where the entrance is very hard but definitely the best place to spend the night. All the clubs on Friday and Saturday are open until 5am!



Just close to Berzelii gardens Rose Club in Hamngatan 2, actually the top trendy cool club in town.
